Pair of good quality buttoned back english open arm library chairs. Circa 1860

Both rear legs stamped with inventory numbers possibly for the maker Jas Shoolbred.

Raised on turned fluted ebonised mahogany legs with gilt detail. Original brass castors, square sabre legs to rear. Solid mahogany frames. comfortable and supportive coil sprung horse hair seats.
