A good quality button back armchair by the renowned London cabinetmaker, Cornelius V. Smith who operated at 'Marshalls yard, Henry St, Hampstead Rd, London'.  Circa 1890.

Elegantly shaped, comfortable deep seated with lumber back and sprung seat. 

Quality oak frame raised on turned mahogany legs with original brass castors.

Makers mark stamped C.V.S.
