A pair of exceptional mid 19th century English terracotta urns.

Each decorated with mythological masks with adjoining deep relief swags of grape vines. Gadrooned lower body with scrolling acanthus leaves.

Both are weathered and distressed showing signs of their age but still retaining good detail and attractive patina. One has more losses than the other. Both with remnants of original paint. Repair to one base.

Would look spectacular in house or conservatory.
