Peter Jackson was one of the last survivors from that generation of artists that studied at Corsham Court Art College in the 1950s, guided by prominent tutors including Peter Lanyon, William Scott, Adrian Heath, Peter Poterowski, Anthony Fry, Howard Hodgkin and Terry Frost. He’s main focus was abstract, experimenting with a range of materials and collage to create a trademark textural, almost relief surface to the canvas.
