Charming 19th Century French Jappaned Tilt Top Table.

A pretty French lacquered fruit wood decorated table. Circa 1880.

Hand painted through out. The centre finely decorated with a bouquet and bird. Elegant gilt scrolling vine to outer edges. Original and stunning craquelure patina.

The turned pedestal with painted detail has signs of historic long gone worm but is  solid and sturdy. Raised on painted carved scrolled legs.

A very attractive and usable country house table.
