Decorative French Hanging Lantern. Attributed to Gilbert Poillerat.

French green painted iron and gilt tole hanging lantern of elegantly waisted hexagonal form. Three centre stem bulb holder. Substantially thick perspex panels. Hanging chain with rose and internal hook.

Height to top ring 58cm, Width 39cm. Overall hight to ceiling rose 71cm.

In good order. One small tole gilt detail missing. Scuffs and wear consistent with age.  Rewired and tested.  We suggest that it should be fitted by a certified electrician. As with all metal lighting the connected earth wire must be used.
