Pair of beautiful and rare carved polychrome and gilt French torches on plinths. Surviving from the mid 1700. Gilt scalloped bases cradling the elegantly scrolling flames with remnants of original colour pigment paint.

Condition is structurally sound. Areas of scattered historic worm to both. Some areas of restoration to one. On later marbleised wood plinths.
