A handsome Napoleon III Gothic Revival Library Chair, Circa 1870

Carved scrolled walnut arms leading to elegant turned legs with brass castors.

Re-sprung seat, traditional horse hair.

Fully re-upholstered in 'Winter's Bone' ink linen by Tradescant & Son.

Winter’s Bone is inspired by taxidermy and the wonderful collections of skeletal deer in the Museum of Natural History in Dublin. The elegant mesh of the antlers forms a backdrop for meticulously drawn deer skulls.
