A 35cm. diameter terrestrial table globe made up of twelve chromolithographed gores and two polar calottes, the equator and prime meridian graduated in degrees, the ecliptic ungraduated, the oceans showing ocean currents, airline, steamship and Zeppelin routes, the continents with nation states variously coloured according to national possession, with details such as railways, rivers, mountains, towns and cities. Raised on a turned fruitwood column and circular base with inlaid compass. 56.5cm. high
